The
Royal Society unveils the second blockbuster announcement this month. Hard on the heels of the report on ICT in education, a major new policy project for science and maths education is announced that is asking for evidence submissions by March 16th, in just six weeks time.
The project is led by a Committee which includes two previous Secretaries of State for Education, two scientist-media stars and a Nobel Prize-winning academic, and leading teachers and educationalists. Sir Martin Taylor FRS, Warden of Merton College, Oxford, is chair of the Vision Committee.
