Bringing Cutting Edge Science into the Classroom
Contemporary Science CPD for Key Stage 3 & 4 and post-16 teachers is funded by Research Councils UK (RCUK) and developed and delivered by the Science Learning Centre network .

Teachers taking part in courses will:
- identify new contexts and ideas for effective delivery of How Science Works
- explore scientific issues and controversies
- engage with inspiring teaching resources and approaches including practical work
- work alongside researchers involved in cutting edge research to develop knowledge and skills in authentic contexts.
