Wild 4 Maths enables Upper Key Stage 2 students to apply maths skills to a real-life context, and understand how maths and science are linked.
This session explores how we use maths in our conservation work at the Zoo and out in the field. Students will learn about different conservation careers and will work in groups to tackle maths challenges related to those job roles. Each student is given their own specialised work book to use during the session, and take away at the end, so you continue to use the data collected back at school.
The session is hosted by our Discovery & Learning team in our brand new Land of Lions Learning Space and lasts approximately 50 minutes.
