How can data and statistics help make society
healthier? Demonstrate the important role of large data sets in making
decisions about healthcare as students analyse data in smoking and lung
cancer mortality. Students will then consider the skills and career path
of a medical statistician and do some of their own research to create a
CV for someone in the field.
