The Sci-Tech Challenge is designed to motivate students, aged 15-18, to consider science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)-oriented careers, raise their awareness of the importance of their MST skills and how they can be applied in enterprising ways to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
The Sci-Tech Challenge currently takes place in nine European countries. The three-year programme will give close to 10,000 young people in secondary schools in nine European countries the opportunity to participate in the Sci-Tech Challenge programme. Over 200 employees from ExxonMobil will participate as volunteers. 180 teachers will experience the Sci-Tech Challenge.
