Teaching Vacancies

Teaching Vacancies is the free national service for searching and listing teaching roles provided by the Department for Education


It has been designed by schools for schools - to reduce the amount of money spent on recruitment advertising – estimated to be around £75m each year. Over 80% of state maintained schools in England have already signed up and are posting vacancies on the Teaching Vacancies service, helping teachers at every stage of their career.

 (CSciTeach) is a chartered mark recognising excellence in science teaching and learning. It is of particular interest to prospective employers, who will be able to easily recognise the quality of a prospective employee, so making it a desirable mark to obtain.
